Dog Watch Navy. The hours from midnight to noon aren’t any problem; A dogwatch at sea is the period between 4 and 6 p.m, the first dogwatch, or the period between 6 and 8 p.m., the second dog watch.
This period is split into two, with the 'first' dog. The dog watch is the newsletter of the naval association of bc and is normally published four times annually. There is an overlay of daywork for those off watch in the forenoon and afternoon watches.
